Canon C5255 Copier Firmware Error 84005206

Hi All

I have a Canon C5255 copier , failing communication test with error 84005206, cannot download any firmware , the device has already had a full bypass in our networks firewall - Can anybody tell me what this error message means as I couldn't find any information .........

The manual explanation says nothing useful.Do you have any issues with printing on local network?

Can you ping anything out like Google? 8.8.8.8.

All of that looks fine and no issues with general printing. I think that the firmwares so old it won't with the CDS Updater. I may look at getting the new firmware from Copier Tech

If you have scan to email set up & they send out outside of your domain you know the copier is correctly configured.

As you say if its still on an old production version this could be the issue.
