    Bad drum? Developer? Other?

    Hi All,

I'm looking for any opinions on what this most likely is.

I recently replaced the cyan drum so I don't think it's that. Also the ITB cleaning blade was recently replaced.

An idea is maybe the cyan developer?

Any other ideas of what this might be?

Machine is a Canon IR ADV DX C5760. Firmware updated to latest as of about 3 months ago. General cleaning done about 3 weeks ago.

The sample image is a document where this happened which the text was cut off so I could post the blue part. The document is double-sided so you can see some of the text from the other side of the page. That is not a part of the print defect.

The feed direction of the image is toward my thumb.

    Thanks,

Always consider the PM counter of wearing parts. Most likely the developer

    Hi giuboss and drivee,

The count overall is a bit over 600,000.

This issue started before the drums were replaced, and continued afterwards.

I agree that this must be the cyan developer. I'm getting one and will replace it.

    Thanks for your input.
