    Canon MFP and printers

    Hi Guys,

My company is about to change Brand.
We always had Kyocera but now it's time to change.
We are a small company that works mainly with rental.
It's not yet decided but now (tech rep) I have to give my opinion.

What's about Canon? The ImageRunner are good models?
What's about the color print quality? We all know that Konica are the best but in my mind Canon is a big player.
Someone knows in comparison to a Kyocera?
    And monochrome models?

Now let's this thread go, this is no time to be shy.

    Thank you in advance,
    Kyove

Everybody (excepting maybe Samsung) does better color than Kyocera. You can only improve. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I work on all 3 brands and will take a Canon over a Kyocera or Konica every day of the week. Superior color quality, machine reliability, ease of repair, adjusting and troubleshooting.
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

Canon or Konica Minolta.... Kyocera is ok but color are poor and dev units will die premature.

I know each copier has different color and some are better depending on what you are used to. But some copiers have a color table for companies that like a certain copiers color. I know the Kyocera has a mode for Canon, Konica, Ricoh, Toshiba, etc. You can set it depending to the customers preferences. Have not tried it but I saw it in the color table adjustments.

I've worked on Canon and Kyocera. Canon is overall better between those two in my opinion.

    Re: Canon MFP and printers

In December Canon was in the worst shape for A3 unit shipments of all the OEM's. I haven't seen an update in the last two months so I'm not sure where they stand currently. If you are buying and renting used equipment then this wouldn't be a concern. If you are going to need new equipment maybe someone can chime in on how things are moving now.
