IRA C3525i magenta band/background

Hi all,

I’m a bit stumped with a minor print quality issue in a church, a faint magenta band down the center of prints running paper feed direction A4 LEF. (see picture attached not great example but its what the user sent me) It shows up on the auto gradation print outs so I’ve ruled out the scanner/optics.

I have replaced ALL the drum units, cleaned the laser glass, removed & visually checked the transfer unit & magenta dev unit all visually look fine.

The machine has only ever been run on genuine toner & the main counts black & colour are around 150k total.

I suspect the magenta dev unit but it looks fine, a good even coating on the dev roller.

Firmware is on the latest (obviously!)

Hello, the spare parts that you have changed are original? send photos of the installed parts, before you change the parts

Hallo zusammen,

ich bin ein bisschen ratlos wegen eines kleinen Problems mit der Druckqualität in einer Kirche, einem schwachen magentafarbenen Band in der Mitte von Drucken, die in Papiereinzugsrichtung A4 LEF laufen. (Siehe Bild im Anhang, kein großartiges Beispiel, aber es ist das, was der Benutzer mir geschickt hat.) Es wird auf den Ausdrucken der automatischen Gradation angezeigt, daher habe ich den Scanner / die Optik ausgeschlossen.

Ich habe ALLE Trommeleinheiten ausgetauscht, das Laserglas gereinigt, die Transfereinheit und die Magenta-Entwicklungseinheit entfernt und visuell überprüft, alles sieht optisch gut aus.

Die Maschine wurde immer nur mit Originaltoner betrieben und die Hauptzählungen in Schwarz und Farbe betragen insgesamt etwa 150.000.

Ich vermute die Magenta-Entwicklungseinheit, aber sie sieht gut aus, eine gute, gleichmäßige Beschichtung auf der Entwicklungswalze.

Firmware ist auf dem neusten (offensichtlich!)

As I said in the original post I replaced ALL the drum units with new.

Yes this the issue but I couldn't see anything wrong with it, a good even coating of toner but fitting a new one resolved the issue.
