Canon iradvc2220 only has main power and energy saver lights on

Hi all, just looking for some help with troubleshooting.

Upon powering up, only the main power led and the energy saver button is lit. No display, no other LEDs on the display. If I open the copier top there are a few electronic clicks from the rear of the unit but nothing else. At no time is there any other sound/response.

Happy to check anything that might require physical multimeter measurements etc, just not sure where to start so any help would be appreciated.

    TIA

There is a LED at the main conroller, check if it's on.

If not, look if it's on for a moment at startup. Are the fans there rotating?

If not i would the Low-voltage Power Supply and maybe AC driver PCB...

thanks for the reply. there are 2 leds that come up. one is led 5 (green) and the other is something like 121 (red). I'll try to open up the covers again to re-check the numbers. believe the fan on the left of the hdd does come up but I will verify that as well.

Can you get into download mode(2+8 power up) Run controller diagnostics(2+4 while powering up). Probably needs main con 1. If it was HDD, controller would boot but fail to load system software( 602 error probably or frozen progress bar)Unplug HDD and boot machine...should give a black screen 602 error. If not, main con1 IMO
