After stapling, the stapler tries to move back to home position, but hits another piece inside near the rear, makes gear noises and gives code e532-8002. I was able to insert a long screwdriver in from the delivery side to push the inner assembly that was blocking the stapler (gripper?) up so the stapler could move past it so the finisher can be used now as long as no one staples. It happens every time stapling is done.
It was almost 5pm and the customer needed to head out, so I removed the staple cartridge for now until I can get back to give it a closer look.
It seems either the stapler isn't moving on it's track correctly, or the part its hitting is out of place.
Are there any common issues that would cause this?
