Hello all,
I have gotten thrown into Canon repairs recently and have very few resources to fall back on since I am coming from Xerox. I have a machine that I got called on for jamming and dirty inside the right door. When I got there last week I vacuumed out the left door area then ran 20 duplex print and 20 duplex copies with no issues. I assumed the jamming issue was related to the dirty sensors that were present and moved on. I got called back out within three days saying that the machine was jamming again. I had ordered document feeder rollers for the other machine in this office so I added on rollers for the trays in this machine and went back out when they came in. When onsite the issue is just on duplex although the machine is almost as dirty as it was last time I was there. Do these machines just run dirty all the time or should I be looking at a drum or developer or?? The meat of the issue right now is the jamming while duplexing. The paper is stuck in the upper part of the paper path in what I would call the invert path but they seem to call reversal. It looks like the machine is sticking the page in the reversal area up top but not pulling it back out. I tested the duplex motor and delivery motor as well as the two gate solenoids. Still having the same jams every time they duplex. All the solenoids and motors passed with an OK. What am I missing here?
Thanks for any insight
