Canon ScanFront 400 admin password

Hi does anyone know how to reset the scanner -

as i cannot locate the ip address or open admin settings due to it asking for a password

one site says it can be reflashed with the firmware

clear pwd or last way you can reinstall firmware

is there away to get into service mode or something as the system is locked down with some options

like admin menu
but it needs a password

the scanner has a large touch screen

all fixed if anyone wants to know how i can explain.
in short you need to change the boot code in the grub menu to a new location as that has the factory reset file inside and will automatically start once booted.

then after that do a firmware update in the service menu and its all working.
