Nothing but OEM.

Nothing but OEM.
OEM Drums have a warranty - follow instruction included & use it
Thanks - I wish I knew what the issue was. Never had this happen before.
[QUOTE=Canon.Tech;242267]As a quick fix or fault finding fit the new drum cylinder to the old/working drum unit.
I'll give that a try if the Drum Unit they send me does the same thing as the other two I've tried. What about the roller that sits along side the Drum? If that is worn do you know if that would make a difference long term?
This isn't a machine I normally work on - Sharp is my main system. Having said this, I have found that the work I do do on Canon's, with my limited knowledge, is ten-times better then the tech's I've seen from Ikon or Canon Direct, or even some small shops that do Canons. Some of them think the Canon is just an oversized HP Printer. I keep on seeing them put HP Feed Rollers into the Feed Sections of Canons. They may fit, but they don't always work.
The deal I have found with Canon's is that, it's a good box, but sometimes, the systems can get really complicated to repair. More work to do on a Canon then for the same job on a Sharp. But then, I don't work on Canons all the time.
I usually have someone who does the work on the Canon's for me that I have out in the field. Here, I'm just trying to get through what should have been an easy re-build. All is good except the Drum's imaging issue.
What would you use to clean the Charge - Alcohol? What about the Drum Blade? Change that, as well?

Thanks for your input - When I get an answer, I'll let you (everyone) know what the outcome is. See if we can solve this mystrey.
Update -
Finally resolved the Copy Quality Issue I had. I'm not sure if the issue there was before cleaning out the system, but the Laser did have dirt on it. It was towards the backside of the machine, so my thinking is it might have been that way or got coated when we blew out the interior. What threw me was when I put the old Drum in everything was fine. Copy quality was great, put the new one in and things went bad - go figure. I appreciate the input from everyone.
Thanks!.
