Clearing the Dept ID & PW on CIR2880i

Hello everyone we are working on a clients Color IR2880i and we needed to enter the Additional Functions menus but there is Dept ID and Password needed the clients key operator no longer works there and that person had User ID info. We know how to enter the service mode thru the 28 procedure but we are not sure how to disable the Dept ID function

Thank you in advance for any help

why did u do a MMI Clear ???

MMI Clears following user mode setting values: u better check them
    - Backup data for copy operation panel (user-set values)
    - Common settings backup data (user-set values)
    - Backup data (except fax data) (user-set values)
    Attention:

The setting values are cleared after the main power switch is turned OFF/ON.
    Operation method
    1) Select this item, then press the OK key.
    2) Turn the main power OFF/ON.

if u have a Fiery connected > check if this setting was changed-----
    COPIER>OPTION<INT-FACE>IMG-CONT & set it to "3" for imagePass connection/hit OK & power off/on printer

    if no Fiery--set to "0"

Must go to printer settings in your system and must enable the option not to prompt for pin.
