    [Error Code] IRA 8105 E355-004

    Hello All,

we had this 8105 for 3-4 months at our office, we tried plug it in and it's giving error E355-004. we tried main board, counter set but still same. we replaced new counter with 2 flash but still same. any idea ?

i guess someone mismatch counters but still if we installed new its giving same error. please advice if we are doing something wrong.

    Thanks

E355-004 denotes a mismatch of the three serial numbers items: Serial Number pcb, MNCON pcb, and Counter Memory pcb.

May cleared in Service Mode Level 3>COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>E355.
One can access Service Mode Level 3 by entering Service Mode Level 1>

    then press Settings & Registration> 1 & 9 simultaneously>Settings & Registration> 3 on the key pad.

Not sure if this will work on your model DO NOT MAKE ANY CHANGES IN LEVEL 3 SERVICE MODE. Only used for the E355 clear.

When you need to replace the Main Controller PCB 1, it is important to first ensure the proper model number of the device as the Controllers are different for each model in that series

    MAIN CONTROLLER PCB ASS'Y, 1 iR-ADV 8105 = FM4-5305-000

In order to secure the accuracy of connector connection when slotting in, this service part is
provided with the PCB being installed to the frame.
    1) Transferring the parts from old PCB to new PCB
    • DDR2-SDRAM (2 pc.)
    • Flash PCB
    • TPM PCB
    NOTE:
Re-setting/registering the data is not necessary after Main Controller PCB 1 is replaced.

If issue come about> an "Initialize Data/Settings" may need to be performed. One can run an "Initialize Data/Settings" by, Settings Registration>Management>Data Management>Initialize Data/Settings.
