Hi,
Off to help out another dealer tomorrow and have to take a look at this machine for them. The error code isn't in the service manual so I wondered if anyone had any ideas please??
Grateful for the help.
Cheers

I think it should be E027-0300. Has to do with cyan developer and or supply. Suspect bad drive gear on end of developer or possibly a problem with dev/drum drive assy. Good luck.
Problem :
Error code E027
Solution :
It has been found that the D cut portion of the drive gear can strip out and not allow drive to the developer. The drive gear is a X shaped gear.
The gear part number is FC8-4338-000.
That is how the code shows on the control panel but Canon only uses three numbers for Error codes EXXX-(XXXX). Cyan is a good bet.
Hope its not this.
In this case, a gear was missing on the set on hopper assembly. The gear is not available as a part, so the set on hopper assembly had to be replaced Here is a picture of a set on hopper assembly with the gear in place.
The part numbers for the set on hopper assembly are:
5000 Series Black FM3-5980-000
5000 Series Color FM3-5990-000
5200 Series Black FM3-9660-000
5200 Series Color FM3-9657-000
these machines are great if they are looked after properly.
The E075 could be the: ITB, Transfer rollers (sit under the ITB), the patch sensor needs cleaning (do this first) or the belt has tracked.
check that the belt is set correctly while cleaning hte patch sensors, if it isn't center, correct the position and run the ITBINIT in service mode, this will centralise the ITB position within the machine.
also note that there were alot of modifications to the ITB over the last couple of years, check to make sure that that these are applied, if not, replace the entire ITB frame for time efficiancy (it takes about 1-2 hours to do the full ITB transfer to the new parts and assembly manually)
good luck.
