[Error Code] Canon IRC 3570 E014-0001 code

I have been attempting to repair a IRC 3570, with little success. The machine gave a E014-0001 code 2 days ago. I checked the fuser gears and rotation, finding no restrictions. Tried to reset code, no joy. If anyone has a suggestion, I am willing to try. I know this could mean a bad motor or board, but hoping there may be something simpler. Thanks in advance.

    U mean iR3570

E014-0001 can be an indication of a faulty fixing motor. E014-0001 can be displayed when the drive detection signal is absent for 2 sec although detection is executed every 100msec after the start of motor rotation.

    1. Check the fixing unit for binds or broken parts.
    2. Re-fit J311, and J319 connectors of the DC Controller PCB.
    3. Re-fit J1009 and J1011 connectors of the fixing motor.
    4. If the symptom still occurs, replace the fixing motor with a new one.
The part number for the Fixing Motor is FK2-0367-000.

Any E100 codes also? I've heard of 2 machines that had a drum problem of all things causing these 2 codes. Sounds strange but it was a drum problem

In my experience with many of these it can indicate a worn out fuser. Even though it still works. If the usage has gotten around 100 percent with some age its time to replace it. That's been my simple solution.
