    Victor 1260-3

This was the first calculator I've messed with(mistake #1). the printer was locked up which I found to be some torn ribbon which I removed a couple gears(mistake #2) to get it out so now the timing is off.

Does anyone know how to set the timing ?

    Thanks,
    Dave

On the calculators the boss has had us work on if the timing is off it is almost impossible to redo. We tell the boss its broke and we cant fix it. You could mess with it over three hours and still not get it right.

Are there not timing marks on the gears? I used to work on a lot of calculators in the past and most have timing marks on the gears.

No marks on the tiny gears we have have seen its much cheaper for them to buy another calculator. I know the customer gets used to their favorite calculator and definitely don't want to change but sometimes there is not any other choice but to replace it.
