Copystar 3552ci scan to Citrix Sharefile

I have a new install that wants to scan directly to folders in Sharefile. I'm not familiar with this product so I called their tech support but all they suggested was try ftp. I have the ftp information but I'm confused as to the path. On the computer the Sharefile folders show up as drive S but I keep getting an error 1103 which is path.

If anyone that has done this can give me any pointers that would be great. The customer doesn't have a dedicated server, only workstationsand tech support told me it was possible to set up but it would take some playing with. Thanks for any help.

Instead of using the hostname of "S" you have to use the nickname of that drive. Make sure you are leaving off the whacks from the beginning of your hostname as well. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the reply. How can I find the name of the drive if all I see is drive S ?

Most of the time you can just go into properties > sharing of the folder in that drive and it will give you the network path with the nickname. You can always point the hostname at the IP address of the "S" drive if it's static.

If your ftp login home folder for the Sharefile is the scan directory you can simply use a dot (period) as the path. If not you need to find the path relative to the home directory of the ftp login.
