Canon C3325i slow to print from Mac based system

It seemed OK when it was hooked up to their network but they say for the last month it seems
slow to print from their computers.
I am not an IT tech so please use simple terms.

They say they got their computer about 6 months ago. It's a Mac OS X Yosemitty 10.10.5 system.
I have contacted The IT tech I always use but have not heard back from him, so I thought I would post
to get a clue.

Think if no postscript installed on machine you have to use UFR 11

Update the firmware to the latest level & the driver & go from there.

Is it just one document they are having issues with?

copier tech, no it is not just one doc to my knowledge. I'm not sure if it is everything or just a particular program.

mga, I would have to ask the IT tech who put it on the network to be sure. I will mention the UFR II to him.

I wish I could be more helpful in this area for this call, but I am about 3.5 hours from town.

I had design studio with about a dozen mac's. They had some slow printing issues too. One nice lady there kept track of printing speeds by several macs with several print methods. For the huge docs they were printing she found a local printer with the HP jetdirect port was by far the fastest spooling and printing.
Getting the Macs off the windows print server was the other big improvement. Weird thing was the Ricoh down the hall was setup on the server with a standard IP port and Mac's still printed faster or about the same to it.

As of now I have not heard back from the IT tech. If he has any questions I will direct him to this post, it contains
some good suggestions on how to deal with this issue.
