I have an MP C 2500 in my office for test purposes and it scans to folder
    for Windows 10 Home.
I didn't test it with "Pro" version. But,
lately i cannot set up Scan to Folder in Windows 10 Pro enviroment,
    for an MP3555, MP2014, MP C5000.
All above suggested adjustments have been done.
Thank you all of you for help,

I think the problem is that ISP blocked this ports on the modem/router level.

Now I try to connect to FTP IIS server.

FTP server work properly. I can connect from my other device,

but I still don't find exact information (syntax) how fill out the Ricoh FTP authentication fields with Win ISS credentials.

    What I did:

On the Ricoh screen choose FTP

    > Server Name: WORK-STATION

    > Path: \\FTP-Scans\ (this folder create on the C:, with necessary rights for the user bellow)

    > User name:

    > Password:

    Port No. 21

Issue: Connection with PC has failed. Check the settings.

The ISP (internet service provider) cannot block scan to folder.

If you turn on SMBv1 service on the PC, the next Microsoft Security Update will turn it off.

If you want to use FTP I would suggest FileZilla Server or a similar software. A lot more support available for setting it up.

A work around is to scan to the MP C2500 internal Document Server. You can then use WIM to pull it to your computer.

Not sure if you work on this Vintage of MP C2500 machine but I don't believe you can pull down documents to your PC that have been scanned into the document server...only see thumbnails & initiate printing a document from the PC that's already in the MFP document server. Heck, this machine doesn't even have a built-in USB port that you can scan to!!!Ricoh Aficio MP C2500 Another viable option would be Pull-Scan with Network TWAIN plug-in & host software!!!

    Thank you,

The ISP (internet service provider) cannot block scan to folder - yes, you are right, it's not.

The browsing of folder work, but transmission foult. In SMB mode.

Now I try to figure out with FTP.

Pull-Scan with Network TWAIN Plug-In in a host program would probably work too!!!

NAPS2 - Scan documents to PDF and more, as simply as possible

Windows 7 X64 TWAIN Driver (Might Work With 10!!!)

If you are logged in as admin that is true. You have be logged as a user. It is Ricoh's documentation. Also the documents have to be scanned as PDF.If you scan them as TIFF it requires the file format converter.

Scan to memory device is available with newer models. You use the USB-A (front side) jack without install the USB2.0/SD Slot Type A unit. Just set SP1013-001 from “0” to “1” in either Printer SP or Scanner SP, which ever one exists. You can also use an USB extension cable to bring the connection up to the front panel,

    Re: Ricoh Aficio MP C2500

    Sirs,

thank you one more time to all of you.

The trick is that IIS FTP server assign index ( / ) page and what you need it is topologie how to fill out credentials and path in Ricoh WEB app or in the screen of Ricoh.

I attached pictures maybe it will be useful. I saw a lot of questions in web forums regard this issue.

This what you will see after you connected:

The scan works fine in both modes the pdf and the tif.

    Thank you and FTP.
