Give me a service manual and a parts source and I can repair just about any piece of office electronics.

I was calling out your use of reed instead of read. Keeping it light as I go through the forum on a weekend.

Re: Need some advice on learning networking

I work on Ricoh's, everything from the smallest desktops to the biggest production models. So I'm a jack of all, master of none. I will learn from every avenue I can find, be it Youtube, Goggle, Copytechnet and every other place I can find. As far as service manuals, some are really lacking, there are many machine options like finishers that don't have service manuals, so you're kinda on your own.

Also, I'm kinda lazy, so I'd rather learn from someone that's already done it, instead of figuring it out myself.
