I should also note that on a Kyocera machine that you need to leave the "path" box blank. When I would enter the folder name, it would not work.

The ftp software be it FileZilla or EZFTP handles the routing to folder. Copier just needs to get the file to the host (PC)
So no need for folder path at copier

Couple random thoughts, just to add to the wealth of knowledge here:
I always like to test my FTP setup from the command prompt of the computer, before I try scanning at the copier:
Open CMD Prompt
Type "FTP [IP Address of host computer]"
Type in "anonymous" (or the Login of an account that you created in the FTP Server)
If using the Anonymous account, press Enter at the password blank (or input the password that you configured)
Once you are successfully connected, type "dir" to list anything in the root folder (this is the most important part, imho, as it will trigger a firewall warning/prompt if you haven't properly set an exception)
Type "bye" or close the window to end session.
Also, for Konica Minolta's at least, I have noticed that they are very specific about what you put in the "destination" section of scan address setup. Some models need a "." while others seem to only like "/" or "". If everything else seems correct, it's worth trying something different as the destination entry.
Silly question, how come y'all don't use the FTP server with IIS built into Windows?
