Best free SMTP Email Account to use for scanning?

We are coming across this a lot with machines not able to scan to smtp with the links of office365 what free email accounts are you guys using to allow reasonably large file sizes to be scanned and sent? With no maintenance of the account?

I've tried gmail and that works just wondering if theres any other ones? UK based preferably.

Does the ISP provide free email accounts?

Best to use there company email.
    Gmail is the go too.
    Turn on less secure apps.
Let the customer create the account.

From what I have heard, Google is in the process of eliminating "less secure apps" and expect to have entirely gone by sometime in January.

Gmail enforces 2FA for all accounts around Feb 20 2021.

Yeah I totally agree but I don't pay the bills. Would one account work multiple copiers? Any idea on the limit say if 50 copiers all tried to scan using same account at same time would it fall over? Or any size limits?

I would guess their company email is the O365 account he's having issues with.

SMTP2go is free if they are doing 1000 or less scans a month. If they are doing more than that it's not unresonable for them to pay a little $ each month for the service.

SMTP2GO size limit is 50MB per email.

The only one that is simple and safe for me is Google.
If you want an alternative and functioning service like Google or better, you have to pay for it.
I prioritize company email. If they haven't, I set up Gmail.
Do not use free services as they may violate your privacy rights. I know vendors who use a single email for all customers. Theoretically they are able to read all the scanned emails (in the sending mail) and this compromises the privacy of the customers without his being aware of this risk.
