    Konica c452 with dead HDD

Well first post here as I am a new printer. Just purchased my new to me konica c452 with built in fiery. Got it home unloaded and the built in fiery HDD is dead. Does anyone have the firmware for the IC-414 v1.1 EFIGS? I have attached a photo of whats on my current hardrive.

    Firstly welcome to copytechnet!

You don't have to have the fiery connected, this was an optional extra. If you disconnect it it does the machine come to ready?

Thank you, been awhile since ive been patt of any forums. Yes, I have a functional printer if I switch the fiery off and set the printer to mode 0. I believe I actually took your advice from another thread. Connected a monitor to my fiery and its stops loading at the kernel boot. I attempted to flash the hardrive and duplicate it to no avail. To many compromised files. I would like to get fiery back up and running to familiarize my self with the full features. That was a huge drawing point for my purchase. I have my new hardrive ready to rock just no firmware. Thank you for the response

If you want to use the fiery you'll need to recovery DVD set that came with the unit to reinstall the software.

Hopefully someone on here can help you out with this.
