Big Sur works fine for me...even on older Kyocera models. And no problem scanning to folder. Easy peasy.

For those who are fans of TeamViewer both Apple Catalina 10.15 and Apple Big Sur 11.0 require the end user to make Security changes to their computer.

It can be difficult to explain this procedure over the phone. This helpful video simplifies the procedure and allows the user to make the necessary changes before your TeamViewer connection begins.

I fully agree with rthonpm's previous post. You should wait and stick with iOS 10.15 Catalina until iOS 11.2 arrives from Apple.
... Apple OS 11.2 Big Sur is here now.

I worked on two via Teamviewer last Friday. No unexpected problems.

    1. Delete Airprint driver. Install correct IP address print driver.
    2. Fresh IP address print driver install on a new that day latest Apple Mac book.

Does it accept scans using SMB 2.0?

Jus a update on the battery problem. Turned out that another MAC user posted on the Apple forum that she also had this problem. Turned out that a old version of EFI was taking up 100% of memory even though it was not running. Same on my MAC. Removed the EFI folders (2) from my app folder and all is good.

Yes to the question about scan to SMB version 2\3. on MAC OS. There is another thread here at CTN concerning the adjustments needed to make it work. Unlike Windows, once you get it to work you don't have to worry about a update breaking it.
