    i know, i did not expect the topic to blow off like that though. That is why i said that we should probably get back to the core topic

    Macrium seemed to be a little better. I was able to make a mirror image on an External SSD and then place it on a new SSD on a laptop.

    Windows or Mac? Prior to copy repair I was doing IT for a school district. Would set up a mac per class and CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner) to the rest with no issues using target disk mode. This was 2017ish

    For copying the contents of one drive to another at this point it would have to be Windows as Macs haven't really had a wide range of products with replaceable drives in quite awhile.
