how do you approach no WIM and printer not found with windows 11

i had an odd call where a machine installed 2 years ago and connected to 15 PCs and no issues,would not work on one PC.
I checked machine MPC3504EX and made sure wifi was off and anything odd.
machine is connected via cat5 cable.
I tried to install via windows and machine was not found and adding manually did not work either.
I tried to ping IP address and reply all worked.
I then try logging on via WIM and nothing came up.
I have a 2nd machine just for the accnt and PC found it and printed no issues.
I had to cut my time due to dr appnt but need to revisit..
same antivirus is installed on all working PCs..

Make sure SNMP is turned on on the PC, that's one of the protocols used to find the copier on the network.

would that also cause issue with not seeing the machine via WIM,typing in the IP address?

Not needed at all. By default, Windows doesn't even enable the SNMP service. It also doesn't explain the inability to access the web interface...

Not at all. Make sure the problem computer is on the same network range as the other computers and that there are no IP restrictions set in the MFP from a working machine.

THANKS IT IS on same network...and they can print to a mpc401 but not the mpc3504ex..
20 other PCs same model,same OS,same antivirus all work...
its not a priority here but i told them i will figure it out..

It's a long shot but have they checked their firewall settings on that PC? I had a customer using McAfee Security Suite and occasionally had new employees with new PCs automatically click "Block" when an alert popped up without reading the message and ended up blocking the printer she was trying to use.

It's a long shot but have they checked their firewall settings on that PC? I had a customer using McAfee Security Suite and occasionally had new employees with new PCs automatically click "Block" when an alert popped up without reading the message and ended up blocking the printer she was trying to use.

In 2023 any business still using McAfee actively hates its employees...

I would open Windows event log and check notifications around time they noticed can't print.
I dunno Ricoh but on Konica Minolta you can try to ping address from MFP itself, try that from machine to reach troubled PC. Can they still scan? As a test turn off the machine and try if Ping still works?

check with tracert and see if the pc takes the expected (direct) way to the mfp or if there is a timeout happening
Misisng information here:
Is it a AD Network?
GPO for location set? (Computer Configuration > Policies > Administrative Templates > Printers > Computer Location)
Print Spooler Service is active and running?
Is the PC on the same Subnet?
Can you see the Hostnam or the IP with cmd "arp -a"?
