What do you use for a PDF reade?r

The latest free Adobe reader sucks for me. Its the way it does searches and the layout. I don't like it. And yes, I know, its free and ya get what ya pay for.

I found an older version I like but when I install it, it will update to the new suck version. I haven't found a way to turn auto update off.

So is there a better option for a PDF reader that can easily search through a PDF?

    Thanks

If you need to print PDF files the Adobe Reader is still the best solution.
You can revert the user interface layout to the old style via setting.

I still use Adobe Reader 9.1.0. Message me if you want the installation file as Softpedia no longer has it.

You can also use Irfanview if you add all add in to include GhostScript.

Do you know where in the settings this would be? I looked and couldn't find it.

Those of us that do wide format discovered that web based Adobe is not up to the task of handling the large file size of wide format PDF documents. Almost any on-board PDF reader will do better than the web based alternative. I believe that FoxIt was also my favored alternative when Adobe wasn't cutting it. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

Been paying for full Acrobat for the last decade. Of course, I need to frequently edit and extract from the files.

Plus for our office machines we can manage a lot of features and settings through group policy.
