    Lexmark CD510

    Hello everyone,

Hope you are all doing well. Quick question please, does anybody know who to reset the K imaging unit in a Lexmark CS510.I know there is a way through software.I dont want to mess with the chips inside.

    Thanks.

    Re: Lexmark CD510

Lexmark are pretty strict on doing things like this because all four imaging units are replaced at the same time and the counters reset automatically. The image unit assembly is considered a consumable and Lexmark want their income from them. I have been working on these machines for a while and never needed to do that since I do warranty repairs for Lexmark themselves. Have you checked the service manual. There are various reset options that I have never tried before but it's worth a look. You can download the cs510 service manual from the link provided.
