I replaced the magenta dv unit and recalibrated.
prints and copies both have magenta distortions.
I am trying a primary belt next, anybody have a

What's the page count on the DV's and DR's?

If I had to guess from the examples that you posted, I'd say it's a magenta drum cleaning problem.

Also, you need to run some solid test patterns. See below:

If it were the transfer belit, I'd expect to see more than one color affected.

Look like something badly with magenta developer unit - magenta drum unit combo. Why you changed M developer unit, what was your initial problem?

It sure looks like bad developer spacers to me.

Was it a new unused developing unit? Or a unit of unknown provenance? It sure does not look like a new magenta developing unit to me. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I believe you but how did you determine this? It looks different than the bad spacers on my example that you pointed out. Thanks.

The way I understand it, when the spacers wear, the distance between the developing roller and the drum diminishes, and starts arcing. =^..^=

I fixed it by reconnecting and cleaning all high voltage connections.
