    It is a problem with Windows Update. Just type 0x80070422 in your browser search and your should get all sorts of links telling you what to do.

    It could be a corrupted update file. One thing to try is to delete the last 3 updates prior to when you first got the error. Then delete all files from that date range to current date in the folder where Windows stores updates prior to installing them. Reboot and restart Windows updates. It may take 4 or more updates to get fully updated.
