How do I reset the administrator password on the Ricoh Aficio SP C250DN?

More often than not those who change the admin password do not change the supervisor password. Try to login to WIM as supervisor with no password. The supervisor can do one thing, change the admin credentials.

I do not have the option to log in as a supervisor. I do not know how to enter "Special Mode" either.

You may need to request a service support from your regional support tech. He/she will be able to show you how to enter Factory Mode SP on a printer as the printer does not the full control panel of an MFP.

I worked as a Ricoh tech for almost 30 years and never worked on printers. I was able to figure out how to enter the service mode by pressing the "Escape" and "Stop/Start" buttons while turning the printer on. Service mode did not give me the option to clear the administrative password or NVRAM.

I also tried Device Manager NX Lite and that did not help me either.

I worked as a Ricoh tech for almost 30 years and never worked on printers. I was able to figure out how to enter the service mode by pressing the "Escape" and "Stop/Start" buttons while turning the printer on. Service mode did not give me the option to clear the administrative password or NVRAM.

You have to be in Factory SP Mode. Maybe if you post your question in one of the Ricoh forums someone might know how. I've worked on printers but never had to get into Factory Mode.
