IR 400 immage varation

Dear all Tech.

I have the problum of Varying the copy quality almost alternative days. i changed the Exposure Lamp and made the sutup of Auto Exposure and manual exposure (CCD) mode. Machine show 'OK' while in Auto mode but it not get any result in manual set up mode. when I made DENS setup the problum would be cleared for two days. again the same(dark copies) problum occure. pl. help me to cleare this problum.

How many copies on the drum? you just may be compensating for a bad drum

I also tried with New Drum, but the problum not solved. The problum is pitch Black in background
