Im looking for someone that can modify the firmware or drivers to ignore paper length or to bypass the the sensors as i need to be able to print upto 2400mm long, maximum length in the driver is 355mm so anything after that throws a paper jam error, ive tried fiddling with the 2 sensors at the front and can get it to take the whole length through but not print or it prints but stops at the 355m limit. ive got this to work on my epson inkjet using ziggroll dtg rip but cant do it with the brother laser, didnt know if theres any software that can modify this or anyone that thinks they could get round the 355mm limit, any ideas welcome as i cannot find a colour laser printer that will do this out the box?
Of course if there's no easy way round this and someone can get it to work how I need we can agree on a fee as I don't expect free help if it's going to take alot of work and ends up being a software developer job.
