    Vintage Toshiba Copiers Wanted

Hello. I am looking for a Toshiba copier from the mid to late 1980s, preferably a Toshiba BD-5511. Wondering if any are still in existence out there.

Are you filming a time sequence from the '80's/early 90's?
Does the machine have to work or just look pretty?

I don't have one of these models, but these are things that are necessary to know. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I am not filming, this is a personal interest and would be for a collection. I am hoping to find one that is functional. It’s probably like finding a needle in a haystack these days, but figured it was worth a shot.

it is...funny I did not expect a response. Was a dealer many years ago and it was actually in my showroom! worked on many 5511's actually been working on nothing but Toshibas for almost 40 years. My business associates get a kick out of seeing a working 3511.

That's funny. You should probably hold on to it since these are becoming more and more rare. I am actually looking for a model that starts with BD, preferably from the mid 1980s. I know that this will be nearly impossible to find, but you never know what is just sitting around somewhere in a basement or storage room.

You do realize that time will turn the machine off forever don't you? Esp. this brand and its antiquated parts.
I have used Canon Imagerunner parts for sale. Most are floor model Color and / Advances Imagerunner with some 3025 3235 parts. Several intact machines being parted.
