My C253 is up for sale as I will be moving out by the 1st of April. If it won't sell then it most likely will end up in storage. Its done about 1.4 million copies and has just had all of its feed rollers changed out, It has an FS-519 finisher and an SD-505 stapling(?) module. Would a price of CDN$1500 be fair? I am located in St Catharines, Ontario, Canada. I am also thinking of loaning it out to someone, without charge, whereas they collect the unit and are responsible for all consumables (and maintenance too?) so that it can still be of use to someone but when I get a new place sorted out, take it back.

That model has been in "end of life" status for several years now and not worth much. Plus that is a very high meter. Better to donate it and take a tax write off.

But I get what you're saying. Most people get scared of buying tech that is 'end of life'. Shame, as it works really well now.
