ECOSYS M5526cdw, Seized waste toner auger on the Transfer belt assy

The waste toner path clogs with hardened waste toner to the point of seizing the auger shaft, causing the gear to strip the flat on the
end of the shaft, therefor spinning and not turning the shaft. Causing dirty prints, No codes.

I have seen this issue on older units near end of maintenance life, but also on units with as little as 6.8k on the Transfer Belt Unit.

Has anyone experienced this issue and know what the cause could be.

No problem with warranty claims, but the customers are not impressed, it makes Kyocera look bad and in my opinion, it causes an inexcusable service call.

Any comments, or resolution will be appreciated.

    Thanks

    Issue resolved:
I did get a quick response from Kyocera about this issue. The current replacement Transfer Belt Assemblies have been updated as a result of this issue.
There is a service bulletin related to this issue as well. If you are a certified dealer / trained tech, you can receive it as well.
I was able to repair the auger shaft (Gorilla Glue) to keep the customers unit operating until we bring out a new Transfer Belt Unit.
