Only source I know of for a T2500 drive is LPS Computer.

i searched in the old stuff for an ide hdd but they were all broken, but i remembered i had compact flash to ide adapters with 8gb cards, i uploaded the image and it worked.
I hope this can be useful to know.

I’m in the same boat, trying to recover a DesignJet z5600ps with dead HDD (Seagate ST500LT012). I downloaded the firmware file and found that it’s internally a .TAR.GZ file, but the contents are again compressed or encrypted and I’m stuck here. Anyone has a backup or some trick to unpack the firmware file?
