customer could not shut left door after clearing misfeed from fuser.
Fuser was not locking into place.
The only way I could resolve was to remove the 2 screws at the female receptacle.
Is there something else that could be done???
Only second of these machines I've serviced first time seeing the fuser and where it sits. Receptacle seemed to be at a strange angle.
    Thanks!!!

are you sure it's the correct fuser?
do you have the old one?
can you compare the two for discrepancies ?
dis-connecting the female plug could resort in shorts. FIND the real issue to the fuser not seating correctly

Correct fuser don't know; as I stated only second one of these I've serviced and first time seeing the fuser.
Customer did have a spare fuser he got when purchasing this machine; fuser was still in box. It look like fuser that came out of machine. It would not seat either???
