    M477 mfp RADF Mylar

Customer has a machine that puts lines on the copies when using the RADF. I tried cleaning the mylar but it is scratched and I can't get rid of it. HP sells no mylar for the machine. Not available. Can you believe that? Anyone have any suggestions?

its hard to believe. these things are going the way of the ink jet.
parts sold as complete assemblies and cost nearly as much as the new machine. there is a canon image class MF6160dw series that has a plastic adf mylar holder. i wonder if you can cut one of those off and glue it on the hp?

    here's the part number.Canon FL3-3539-000

otherwise, is there way to get some plastic polish and some elbow grease to smooth it down some?

best of luck. let me know what you find.
