HP Designjet 1050C Plus

Hi,
please help with printer issue under Win 10 Pro 64bit
In printer properties: see picture HP1050C.pgn, please.
In printer settings: see picture HP1050C2.pgn, please.
Printing is not possible. No new driver from HP.
I don't want to buy an driver for 175 Dollar.

Use the Windows Vista x64 driver from HP. It works.

i have had this with epson printers also, after update from microsoft , the printer not working. seems something with the printerqueu.

Michael is correct, there was an update from MS that caused various printers to stop working. The easiest fix for that is to make sure you have ALL updates to Windows 10 installed, including new builds.

uninstalled this updates helped me in this case...
but block this updates and wait until microsoft install new updates automatically..

ALL updates are installed. But I'll test it again.

If nothing else, have you tried clearing out the drivers and starting over? If you go to Devices and Printers, and select any printer, there will be an option at the top of the window that has Print Server Properties, and from there you can manually remove drivers. I would remove any HP drivers you've installed, reboot, and reinstall using the Vista 64 driver I linked to.

Btw, if it says the driver can't be removed because it's in use, just stop and restart the print spooler service and try again.

i would delete first all this microsoftupdates which are signed for making trouble, not mess up the computer with drivers... i do this for the epson problem and it works after a computer restart...

and another advice is to use a testing computer for trying printer drivers and make before an image with acronis , so you have alltime a clean machine for testing drivers...
