Hello guys,
I cant copy or scan at all , when i start the machine it show a message " Check copy connect card, copy and send disabled. if error reappears record message, then contact support. "
I have checked the connections for the scanner board and the board in the engine, cleaned them and reconnected but still cant copy.
Any help for what could be the problem? and thanks in advance
Doesn't this sound like authentication to you? Could the machine be looking for an ID card authentication?
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

when the machine is the ready the copy/scan section is faded and cant be selected. so something looks damaged from the boards but i have no experience working on this machine. so not sure if there is something that could be done in the settings.
