Hello has anyone got their HP leaving toner on the edges when doing envelope? Does ok on paper.

any experience is welcomed.
The clean portion of the drum has contsct with envelope. The dirty portion has no contact. This does the same thing with laser blocked.
Idling colour developers are not healthy developers.
I'm thinking this is normal. On machines dedicated to envelopes you get a toner buildup line at the 4 1/8" distance (the width of a COM10) on both the drum and the fuser. It's typical to get ~30% yield on the drum and fuser on a dedicated envelope printer. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is also smudge line on subsequent envelope due to the gap in between each envelope pulls. The drum gets dirty, and shows on the second one.
