My AutoCAD class back in '90 or '91 had an HP Plotter similar to this one.

Those things are mesmerizing to watch in action. Used to have a Draftmaster full size plotter that I loved to watch. Would still have it if I had room to keep it. Used it in college when I was learning RoboCAD. Used to have to fight off the dinosaurs to get to class, it's that old.
