    DesignJet 450C

Customer has an almost never used DesignJet 450C. Looks indeed like new, even the carriage belt.
Is there any hope to find a usable driver, generic perhaps, to use it with at least W10?
Machine has only a LPR port (LOL) What Interface card would it eventually need to hook up LAN?
    Thanks

12 years back, we had a Designjet 500 that we connected to an ancient Windows 97 PC as a print server, then shared the driver out to the rest of the network. As long as you didn't try to do anything on the Win97 box it was fine. The PC got the idea that it needed updates, and would go into long cycles of trying to do updates, unsuccessfully. I think that's why that PC ended up on the shelf. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

I have a copy of the X64 drivers for the older series Designjets, but you can't install them on 10 because they're not digitally signed. You can to an F8 boot and disable digital signatures but then you have to do that every time the system boots, I believe. So I don't think it's a viable solution. I'll PM you a link to the drivers though. You can set up a Windows 7 PC as a print server and share the printer to the Windows 10 machine... see what happens.

Just realized the file is so small I can post it right here.

Oh and I don't think that printer had any network functionality. It's parallel only. You can get an ethernet to parallel adapter still, probably.

Btw, when installing the driver, there are two choices for the 450, a D (24") and E (36").
