HP M425 MFP paper jam as it exits fuser

Have a clients HP M425 MFP that jams just as the paper starts exiting the fuser. It comes out about 4 centimetres and then the machine reports a jam in the cartridge area.

I have tried 2 different fusers and both come up with the same issues. Spent more time on it than i care to admit so was wondering if anyone else has had a similar issue.

Tried feeding from manual feed tray as well as the paper tray - just to rule out a paper feed timing issue with tray 2 feed solenoid.

Any suggestions would be warmly recieved.

    Thank you

Is the toner cartridge genuine or aftermarket?

Its aftermarket - but i have tried the same cartridge in 2 different printers without any issue, also tried 2 different aftermarket toners in it, all without any joy.

It's printed correctly though only the part that has gone through the fuser is fixed.

Of course the fixing (fuser) bonds the toner to the page.

Think i may have found the issue - Tried another M401 printer and pulled out the fuser exit sensor and it gave me the paper jam error in the exact same spot.

The connector on the main board seems to be connected to the board - in that you can't move it, but i am under the suspicion i have a pin that has broken its connection.
Now the fun part will be trying to figure out which pin and how to resolder without pulling the whole machine apart.

from the photo I seem to see a missing pin, strange ... I can believe someone before you tried to repair the printer and made a mistake in reassembling the cable

It has all three pins - perhaps the photo is not the clearest. They did call another company and they told the client that the fuser was dead and it wasn't a viable repair. The fuser in fact is perfectly operational as i have tried in another machine.
