62.04.02 on an HP PageWide Enterprise Color Flow MFP 586xh

This code is not in the service manual, so it has no solution either. The screen says something to do with the print head?
The only thing I can find is a list of codes that have gibberish next to it, which says will help determine the resolution. Huh?
I am the technician that is supposed to fix this thing.
Here's part of the list I found for this error
    62.0F.YZ, 62.0X.YZ, 62.11.YZ, 62.12.YZ
The print engine has encountered an error. Print head and Ink Delivery Errors.

    • 62.0X.YZ Printbar failed

    62.0x.02 Indicates die number; between 0-9. PEN_NO_PEN_IO

Any help would be greatly appreciated. HP support basically listed the same thing with no resolution. Thank you

Thank you. That is a bit better than what I've found, but it still doesn't give me a resolution if the firmware upgrade doesn't work. The printer is not under warrantee, so HP won't talk to me. I AM the technician who is supposed to fix this, and I have no support except for what you just sent me - there is no Standard Support Process for me.
Can any one help beyond this?

I had the same problem on a 586
The only HP solution has been send me the Print Mechanism (PM) G1W41-67901

My advice is to evaluate the activation of some extended warranty otherwise repair can become truly expensive.
