    Fuser / Maintenance Kits

I notice that current HP machines (after FutureSmart3) do not allow you to reset fuser and maintenance kit counters. Has anyone clever out there found a way round this yet?

Yeah install NEW OEM PARTS that will reclock the counters.
If you just reset w/o replacing parts you will end up having PQ/error issues shortly down the road.
Don't cheap out do the damn job properly, your customers will thank you in the long run.

Don't be so patronising. If I want to 'cheap out', whatever the hell that is, I will. Stuff that in your backburner and smell Colonel Kilgore's ass.

Cheap out means you don't follow the suggested repair FROM THE MAKER of the unit.
I don't smell anyone's ass, but it sounds like you do.
I have been in this industry for 31yrs.
Have been HP certified for 29 of those years.
Along with Oki.. Xerox.. Ricoh.. KM... Panasonic.. Samsung.. FP.
    What certs do you have.
Good thing I can't throw a RED CARD because you'd have at least one by now.

Sounds like it is time you got another job then. You certainly need certifying. I notice you said 'suggested' path above. Well if it is the only path then it ain't suggested is it? You sound like a mongolian goose that is caught in a wipeout.
