Hp t920 saying empty ink!! but new ink?

Hi
anyone can help?
Hp T920 MK ink replace with Brand new one ....reads ink chip ..full details of cartridge etc year /serial number etc ,but comes up saying empty MK ink replace?
clean etc , updated firmware , etc .....only one thing thats abit odd says has expired date 24-06-11 which is the correct date on the ink 2024 ....anyone know if plotter has a clock/date and time setup that could be wrong? thx

It's not uncommon to get a faulty ink cartridge right out of the box. I would just return it to where you bought it for a replacement.

If you get another new cartridge and experience the same problem, then it's likely some other problem, so let us know the outcome.
