    HP pagewide 477dn error 8B380001

On start up I get the pagewide screen and then it turn to all blue screen with the number 8B380001.
This error is not in my manual, any idea?

Did the error pop up after transporting the printer?

    Reset the printer

Turn the printer on, if it is not already on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you continue.
With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer.
Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 60 seconds.
Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the printer.
Turn on the printer, if it does not automatically turn on.
Wait until the printer is idle and silent before you proceed.
    Also, Update the printer firmware

All blue screen faults on the pagewide series relate to firmware issues. If you contact HP they will ask you to reset, then tell you to buy a new machine. (They don't like people fixing their stuff).

On the Pagewide's there's a preboot menu you can try and access and then do a firmware restore.

    Disconnect Power
Hold power button in while reconnecting power
HP logo appears then dissapears - continue holding for 5 seconds
    Release the power button
    Touch Home Button
    Back button
    home button twice
After new screen appears touch home button
Press power button to enter MFG mode.
