HP Color Laserjet M575 ADF cleaning message won't reset

    Hello,

I have an HP M575 that over the last 6 months will throw an 'ADF cleaning" or "ADF reset" message every 2 weeks.
I replaced the roller kit and reset the counter through the service menu to 0 at least a dozen times. I've changed the interval to the max number of 99999, updated and downgraded the firmware numerous times, hoping something finally takes. I've performed a factory reset and reformatted the hard drive. Same results. I even replaced the formatter with the same result.

The event log will register every reset.

Myself and the customer are beyond frustrated.
What board am I looking at to replace before I have them get another machine?

    Thanks.
    Jeff

Thanks wav. I'll give it a try.
I ordered a formatter and new hd. I'm going to try that as well.

I tried the 2016 FW but it didn't work.

I'm hoping I found a resolution to this issue after having a 59.C0 error come up.

I replaced the formatter and HD, reformatted HD and uploaded the current FW, then had a 59.C0 error pop numerous times on reboot. During the component test and running the alienation test, the development motor failed. I replaced the development motor and tested. Both the "adf cleaning message" and the 59.C0 error have been gone now for 24 hours and 1,000 pages printed and copied, along with more than 20 reboots.

I feel that the combination of the new formatter and HDD with having to remove the power supply fully reset the system.
