HP designjet T830 error code 1800-0000-0000

Need help... my HP DesignJet T830 got error code 1800-0000-0000 everytime i print. it only prints like a few centimeters then stop. when copying, same case happens. after document scanned, it only prints a few seconds then stop. scanner function is OK. no such error code in the service manual. any idea? thanks.

I'm not sure you have the error correct. Could you take a picture of it and post it? There are no errors in that format.

I did some checking and apparently this error does occur sometimes, and it sounds like it's related to the printhead or carriage. You might try reseating it, or ultimately replacing it. Or if you have replaced it, and still get this issue, it may take a carriage and main PCA to resolve it.

You might try an OOBE reset. Power off the printer. Hold the power button for 30 seconds, then press home, back, home, home.

It was brought to my attention a similar error does appear in the service manual for the T200/600. See attached. Sounds like a new main PCA is in order. But I would rule out the printhead/consumables first.

I'm not sure you have the error correct. Could you take a picture of it and post it? There are no errors in that format.

It was brought to my attention a similar error does appear in the service manual for the T200/600. See attached. Sounds like a new main PCA is in order. But I would rule out the printhead/consumables first.

printhead replaced. doesn't solve the issue.

Then it sounds like you need a new main PCA, and/or carriage assembly. Remember you can only replace one electrical part at a time. Unfortunately I don't have a way to determine if it's one or the other. My guess would be the main PCA.
