HP M251NW found piece in machine

Does anyone recognize this piece from a HP M251NW?

I found this piece in the paper tray of a customers printer, covered in black toner. Its a clear soft rubber plastic material. I looked on a transfer belt and I did not see a location for it. Part of the toner perhaps?

That appears to be the wiper from the transfer belt. You'll need a new belt.

That's what I thought as well, but when I looked at another transfer belt, I did not see that part on the cleaning assembly.
